By using Prick ("the App"), you agree to the following terms.

Not Medical Advice

Prick is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The metrics, classifications, reference ranges, and educational content in the app are for informational purposes only and are derived from published medical literature. They are not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

Always consult your healthcare provider before making decisions about your health based on information displayed in this app. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

Free Application

Prick is provided free of charge with no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no advertising. This may change in the future, but any free features at the time of download will remain free.

Data Responsibility

Your data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. The developer is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, software updates, or any other cause. You can export your data at any time from the app's Settings.

Accuracy

Glucose readings depend on the accuracy of your meter hardware and your testing technique. Prick displays data as received from your Bluetooth-connected device or as manually entered by you. The developer does not guarantee the accuracy of any reading, calculation, or derived metric. Computed metrics (GMI, Time in Range, MAGE, etc.) are estimates based on available data and published formulas.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prick and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to any health decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

Bluetooth Compatibility

Prick supports glucometers that implement the standard Bluetooth SIG Glucose Profile (GATT). Not all Bluetooth-enabled meters are compatible. The developer does not guarantee compatibility with any specific device beyond those explicitly listed in the app's documentation.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, educational content, and branding are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

Availability

The developer may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time without prior notice. There is no guarantee of continued availability or support.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
